Who We Are
Raphael’s Roastery has been roasting fine specialty coffees since 1995.
The founder, Raphael F. Smith IV, comes from family who has been in the specialty food
business since 1916. Raphael’s Roastery started as a wholesale coffee company
serving coffee houses, gourmet food stores and others with award-winning specialty
coffees and flavored coffees. As we grew, we received a steady stream of requests
from individuals who had tasted our specialty coffees and flavored coffees on their
travels or had formerly lived in a town with one of our wholesale coffee customers.
This web site provides a complete, secure, and hassle-free way to order our
