At Raphael's Roastery we carefully select coffee from four continents and roast it to your specifications.
Our close proximity to a regional parcel shipping center enables us to provide especially fast service to
insure freshness.
The Smith family has been in the food business since 1916. The founders were Raphael Smith, the owner's great
grandfather, and his great, great grandfather. Throughout the years the Smith's businesses have been guided by
a simple principle, namely, stick to the basics, provide fine products and good service.
We roast our coffees in small batches and only to order. Each roast is checked with an ultraviolet light meter
to insure that the optimal characteristics for each varietal or roast type are achieved. This measurement also
enables us to reproduce the characteristics of the roast in a
consistent manner to meet the exacting standards of our customers. No coffee is shipped from our Tullahoma, TN
location unless it meets our rigid specifications for quality.
